I’m too young to know if this is in any way accurate. The brick is probably a lot more orange, in keeping with other local buildings.

The Sign Colour A B C should be more orange. Brick colour is not to far out.. The Canopy would have been Maroon and the centre band a sky blue. Leyland Colours. The tall publicity frames on the centre curve and Exit door on the left are the wrong ABC House colour but may have been given a lick of paint by an enthusiastic Manager. :)
I wasn’t born until 1976, so unfortunately I’ve never seen it without the metal covering and I’m yet to see any colour photos of it from before the 80s.
Can you remember what colour the exit door would have been?
