Premier Picture House
This September 1928 view has caught all three Skipton cinemas. It shows the Premier (below the word Premier) set back from Keighley Road with a courtyard in front of the entrance.
The facade/front of house section has a high gabled centre and a wedge-shaped plan (wider to the right/north). I am informed that the box office was central and that patrons then turned to the right (the wider end of the wedge) to enter the rear of the auditorium on the right. The same source recalls seating being all on one level.
