Sylvan Theatre
When the competition Coudersport Theater bought out the upstart Sylvan, its days were numbered and after just eight months of operation it was over as the theatre ended its run May 25, 1941 with “Power Dive” and “Border Vigilantes.” In 1952, the floor would be leveled and the space turned into the Center Dairy Bar serving Dolly Madison Ice Cream.
