Fox Holiday Village Theatre
In 1965, the fourth phase of the the Holiday Village shopping center expansion was while the facility was still an outdoor complex. When the idea of a theatre there was drawn up, it would be free standing adjacent to the shopping center. But between the identification of a circuit (Fox Intermountain) and the actual building of the theater, a decision was made to enclose virtually the entire center.
These are two shots of the theater being built show. The first shows its proximity to what would serve as an anchor (Montgomery Ward’s to the left) with the Fox theatre being built at the right side of the frame.
The shot on the right has the theatre in the left portion of the frame and shows the existing shopping center to the right.
