A lightning rod atop the Sunset pretty much summed up the existence of the Sunset Drive-In Theatre in West Memphis. The so called “theatre that censorship built” was only too happy to take Binfordized films – or films blocked by Lloyd T. Binford across the river in Memphis - and play them to curious crowds mostly crossing the state line to see them.
