Arguably the biggest day for the Pontiac Theatre occurred with this World Premiere of “The Silver Chalice” on December 17, 1954. Emceed by Art Linkletter, stars Paul Newman, Virginia Mayo, Alan Hale, Jr. George O'Hanlon, Tab Hunter and Gonzales Gonzales were on hand along with a parade led by Mayo and Santa.
