The Victoria Theatre was across the street just up the block from the Colonial. Paramount acquired the theatre in 1925 and this photo from 1930 shows an incredible stunt for 1930’s circus-themed, “Swing High.” There’s a real trapeze performer in this lobby display who will be suspended from the Victoria’s vertical sign tower (see next photo). The Victoria was at 233 Market Street.
