The Victoria Theatre was across the street just up the block from the Colonial. Paramount acquired the theatre in 1925 and this photo from 1930 shows an incredible stunt for 1930’s circus-themed, “Swing High.” There’s a real trapeze performer suspended from the Victoria’s vertical sign tower. The Victoria was at 233 Market Street.
