Then pretzel-maker Nabsico did a tie-up with – then – Shea’s Hippodrome Theatre and Universal for “Moonlight and Pretzels” in 1933. They produced the – then – world’s largest pretzel with the X Sisters singing trio at the Hippodrome (picture at right) which was then on display as part of the Hippo’s front for the film (picture at left)
