I use to attend The Roxy in the 50’s and early 60’s on Saturday afternoon matinee’s, when the lights would come on and they would draw for prizes at “intermission” using the ticket stubs. I also recall watching re-runs on TV of “Charlie Chan” staring Sidney Toller as Charlie and featuring on occasion his All American - Number #1 Son. That’s Sidney showing in this Old Time Movie Poster before he was the “inscrutable”, Charlie Chan.
