Unique Theatre
A host of ads for the Unique which was the new name for the Nickeldom beginning in 1908. As for the name change, the Nickeldom had gone to 10 cents as motion picture craze hit the area so that had to have been confusing. And the Unique did well early on. Blank bought the foundering theatre in 1920 razing it to place the Strand multipurpose building containing the new Strand Theatre in its spot.
