Eagle eyes may notice a difference between the Majestic box office (Spring 1956) and the remodeled and renamed Majestic as the Saxon Theatre box office (Fall 1956). At left is a classic ornate movie palace look and at right is the streamlined Louis Chiaramonte mid-century look for Benjamin Snack’s Saxon. Cherry wood and drop ceiling mask older elements while modernized snack bar goes for profit there.
