Very nice it looks too! Even red screen tabs to complement the lovely decor and seating. Everyman did the people of Esher a great favour by rescuing this theatre from Odeon………..
Such a shame that the Odeon were able to bulldoze the stalls to add in their extra screens, sitting downstairs was an experience that is now sadly lost, the double rake and the decor, such a shame the past gets buried.
I also remember the ‘Oil on Water’ holding pattern that was shown on the original Screen Two screen before the show, it used to creep me out a little when I was a boy.
