At Keith’s Rialto, there was an elaborate citywide harmonica contest to promote the film “Big Boy” in 1927. Sponsored ny M Hohner harmonicas and open to all school boys and girls, the Rialto had a week-long contest of live harmonica players and a harmonica-off the final Saturday.
