On the stage of the Enright in 1946 is a live radio show on WWSW that also cross-promoted a future screen attraction to be held there. A hit with the kids.
I sang on this show every Sat. morning when I was a youngster…I think this picture is Dave Tyson, Master of Ceremonies and the lady who acted as “Aunt Hannah” for the bread company who sponsored the radio show. Probably about 1946??? We were so thrilled to be part of the stage show “Stars of the Future”…sang my last number on the show in 1948 when we moved to California. Rege Cordic was the junior announcer on the show. My cousin, Lois, also sang on the show and was part of the “Teen Age Trio”…others were a girl named Joan Lubin … a boy named Billy Bonura…if anyone out there remembers any of us would love to hear from you. I am 85 now and have such fond memories of our “star” days.
