From the archive of the Wurlitzer Organ Trust of Auckland.
This is the original console from the Loew’s State in Norfolk, Virginia. After about four decades in its original installation, it then travelled to upstate New York, Pennsylvania, and Salt Lake City. There it was separated from its pipes, which were apparently parted out or scrapped. It was purchased by the Wurlitzer Organ Trust of Auckland (Auckland, New Zealand) and refurbished in Sydney, Australia before being moved to Auckland where it is still played as of August, 2015.
