Oregon Theatre
On March 17, 1915, the Globe Theatre announced its Grand re-opening after a brief closure (ads at top). At that grand-reopening, they surprised customers with a name change to the Oregon Theatre. That name held until April 14, 1929. The theatre didn’t make the conversion to sound closing that night with “Moran of the Marines” (bottom left) and the common management of the Elsinore welcomed the Oregon’s clientele (bottom right).
