A note regarding this herald’s history from the owner before me:

If you Google American Theatre, Chico, it should bring it up, as a Movie Theatre here in Chico, Also, “Friday Only” on stage it mentions Betty Eris Hannis Ballet Artist. She had a Dance Studio here in Chico, and I obtained some of these movie heralds from her estate, along with other paper items, some of which I have in my store. In the day they sometimes used the movie theatre stage to host live shows. This was the only movie Herald in her estate auction. She married a man who owned a Ice Company here in Chico, (see Polar Ice Company) letterhead. This was an estate from her niece, who was a school teacher here in Chico, apparently Betty had no children.
