AMC Western Park 4

Almost unbelievably, AMC Theaters built two four screen theaters within five miles of each other in Dallas' down-trodden Oak Cliff in 1971. One here is the Western Park 4 and the other was the Triangle 4. Sadly, both theaters died unsuccessfully and quickly for the chain. 35 years later both theaters were still standing and - yet almost more unbelievably - each in 2015 were home to the same franchised retail store as Dollar Generals.

Correction: Family Dollar — not Dollar General.
