In 1999, AMC’s plan for an interior Prestonwood mall 24-screen multiplex went by the board as the Prestonwood was out of retailers and time. So AMC decided to build a 20-screen theater in 1999 within the Valley View mall nearby. This is an artists conceptualization of the project. Eventually, the project became the 2004-opening 16-screen AMC Valley View.
