The Hitchcock masterwork opened at RCMH fifty-five years ago, on August 6th, 1959. I was 16 at the time, and on my summer vacation. I paid to see NbNW a couple of times and then I got a job as an usher for the remained of the run. When the picture changed, I quit. I had to go back to high school too. I wound up seeing the movie about 60 times at Radio City. It was never boring.
