English:

New Theater This evening, at 7:30, the official opening of the new theater owned by Mr. G. F. Desruisseaux will take place. The new animated-picture theater is named Théâtre Premier and is operated by Mr. Bayeur.

The new theater is absolutely fireproof, possesses a modern heating system, automatic swivel seats, and a stage with wings decorated in the finest taste. A balcony, just like the one at the Olympia in Quebec, can hold a large number of people.

The machines are the latest Edison models, of the highest technical perfection, and the operator is an expert with 10 years of experience named Langlois. The singer will be Mr. Mayson, and the pianist will be Miss Southwood.

Prices will be 10¢ and 5¢ for children. We are promised all the latest novelties in this new theater, to which we extend a warm welcome to our city and wish great success.
