This print was screened in Bradford, England at the National Museum of Photography, Film, and Television on March 14, 2005.[9] When Fox (which by that time owned partial distribution rights to the film, including home video) learned of the print’s existence, it took it to the United States to reinstate the fourteen missing minutes and attempt to restore as much of the color as possible.

The Best of Cinerama last show was on 3/22/64. The Cardinal premiered on 3/25/64. Cardinal last show was 4/27/64. Windjammer premiered on 4/29/64. Again not much time to change from Cinerama to 35mm/70mm and then back to Cinerama.
The last show of Windjammer was 6/23/64. Circus World premiered on 6/25/64. When did they expand the center Cinerama booth to include two 70mm projectors? Two days does not seem enough time to do that.
When it was a Cinerama theatre, did it have three projection booths or were all three projectors in one large booth? Also, when Cinerama was removed from the newspaper ads, did they remove the deeply curved screen? Was the curved screen ever removed?
I was just wondering if maybe the Cinerama screen was installed from 10/05/53 to 11/30/71. I can’t find any articles that mention the removal of the Cinerama screen till 12/17/71.
Any guess how the Philadelphia Boyd theatre handled the presentation of 3-panel Cinerama and flat 35mm/70mm films?

The info I have gathered says the Cinerama equipment (three projection boxes and Cinerama screen) were removed after 10/25/59 and re-installed before 8/8/62 but with one projection box in the orchestra for all three Cinerama projectors. But, what did they do from 4/5/58 to 10/19/58? I’m guessing between 03/17/58 and 04/04/58 they removed the Cinerama screen, installed a flat screen, and projected from the balcony projection box starting 04/05/58. Then between 10/20/58 and 10/28/58 they removed the flat screen and installed the Cinerama screen.

Picture is not from 1986. The theatre closed 10/08/1969. The Civic Center construction began in 1972.
