A second screen has now been added to the Palace cinema (opened 2006) and it was one of the first in the area to utilise digital projection.

According to one paper on Czech cinema, this at one time was the most profitable cinema in the country. I would judge from an exterior viewing only, that the Alfa is on two levels (both underground) and possibly around 600-800 seats. Cinemas do not appear to have had particularly large seating capacities here, so maybe there is some truth in the financial statement.
