Rita,
You spelled it wrong agin. It’s “Truly” with one “L”

For those of you that want to see some more wonderful pictures of the Dupage Theatre, go to the www.lombardvillagevoice.com website. The message board there has some photos posted under the DuPage Theatre sub-category of “the historical commission saga”

Jim,
Think of it in simpler terms, something you can relate to. Let’s just say you went to a comic book store at the newly restored DuPage Theatre and Shoppes. You purchased your favorite Captain america comic book at a price of $1. The clerk will actually charge you $1.06, give or take a penny. In a non-TIF district, the 6 cents sales tax would go to all of the applicable taxing bodies, including our school districts and our Park Districts. In a TIF district the money would go remain in the extablished TIF district to help pay for the restoration of the Theatre and Shoppes. Under the RSC plan, all of the sales tax for your comic books would continue to go back into the restoration and not to our schools, parks, etc….until the year 2024. What will eventually happen Jim, is that our property taxes will eventually have to be incrementally increased to keep up with the rising costs to run a village. If a more realistic, financially sound plan with a higher revenue yield were put on that parcel, we may not have to raise property taxes as much down the road. So there is your intervention.

To make matters worse, the theatre will generate very little sales tax anyway. S

Never mind. You have been exposed Mr. DeVitt. None of the REAL restoration advocates are coming to your rescue. Only the personalities that you created are backing you up. They have seen the evidence (produced by your stupidity) that you are a phony.

Let the healing begin.

Change of subject by Jim. Dead giveaway. He always does this when caught in a lie.

Dupe Neighbor,
Not sure which neighbor you are but, I can tell you one thing, this man Jim Devitt will never post his non-existant degree. I’ll bet you a cup of coffee on that one.

TrueClass
TrueClass commented about DuPage Theater on Oct 25, 2005 at 7:22 pm

Where is your degree from so we can check it out? If you produce that info, I will relent.

TrueClass commented about DuPage Theater on Oct 25, 2005 at 7:20 pm

Those were organizations with VP’s of Communications…Please list a corporation Jim. Your cut and paste story will not wash here.

Let the healing begin Jim. Give up your lies.

TrueClass

I also love the idea that a VP of Communications would make spelling errors in a formal letter of interest. “We received you letter regarding the Dupage..”

This is the great preservationist Jim Devitt at work people. I hope you are proud to have him on your side.

Jim,
My husband read the obviously fake letter from ABC Corporation. He immediatly noticed the title of the person that allegedly wrote it. Vice-President of Communications is a non-existent position in corporate America. Communications falls under the umbrella of the VP of Human Resources. Communications Director is the title given. Never has he seen a Communications VP on the staff of any company.

Stop! This is too funny!

This is funny…Nice letter from ABC corporation. Who did you get to check the spelling for you after you penned it . You have had a busy day my Friend, what with conducting a vandalism investigation, driving to Lombard, writing bogus letters and e-mails, holding fake message board conversations(REDRUM, REDRUM)….You are an amazing man Jim!

Trivia question:

What business was located where That’s N Ice is during the early 1970’s?

Hint – Food of some type.

TrueClass
TrueClass commented about DuPage Theater on Oct 25, 2005 at 12:52 pm

What Lombard really needs is to bring back Top Dog and Sweet Granny’s Chicken and Pizza. Both were located on Park Ave. near Punky’s. Best food anywhere.

We also had 5 grocery stores in town during the late 60’s. Jewel was located where Praga is. Centrella was located next to Lom Ling. Dutch Kitchen liquors was a grocer (called Dutch Kitchen), the current Mr. Z was National Foods and Mr. Z was located where Walgreens is.

I still remember the day when they were excavating the Brust property for what is now the “new” addition to the funeral home. All work came to a halt because the excavators were finding human limbs in the ground (skeletal remains). We stood there and watched as the coroners dept came and collected them. It turned out that the Brust house (which is now hidden by the new building) was the office for Lombard’s first surgeon. Apparently he was disposing of the limbs from the amputations he performed by burying them in his yard. Apparently amputations were the norm back then because there must have been a dozen arms and legs that they recovered. I’ll never forget that day.

The gas station next to the theatre was named “Norman Gas for Less.” The proprieter was a Texan named Rex. He also did auto repair and his mechanics were named George and Larry. There was also a candy store on Parkside called The Yum-Yum Tree.

Duper,
Please give us some type of commentary about my last post. If you choose to ignore my request, we will accept your decision to ignore as an admission that you are Dupersupporter, dupagedude, the murph, restorationrita and, the truth.

Now that you have made baby steps by admitting (getting caught) about dude, it’s time to come clean on the others so we can begin the business of discussing the theatre.

It’s time to start the healing Jim.

Jim,
You are making good progress. At least you have admitted to one of your personalities…..
Yea you are right.I am the dude.Do you feel better now.I will humor you.

posted by duper supporter on Oct 24, 2005 at 8:43pm

Unfortunately, you only admitted it because you got caught in your lies in an earlier post. You discuss between dude and supporter about meeting for lunch as usual. In a later post you ask who the “Dude” is….How embarrassing for you. Here are the tell-tale posts:

Dupage Dude Who is this Lynch guy anyway.Does he also go by the name Lombard resident?

As ussual true class you are WRONG. Imagine that? Nothing new there. To bad.Duper supporter is not Dupage dude, or JIM ,or murphy, or restoration rita.Who exactly is this Dupage dude? I Duper supporter have only one computer and use only one browser and use only one name.
But thanks for the tips. I will try them “TOMORROW”

Jim,
I see you discovered that i’s easier to post under different characters if you open two or three browser windows at once. I often wondered how your personalities Dupersupporter, dupage dude, the murph and restorationrita were able to switch back and forth so much. My son showed me how. You should really learn to focus your energies on constructive restoration initiatives.

The charges are not false. If you would like to discuss them with me, you know where I live Jim. I will gladly go to the police station with you to discuss the matter. Anything to get you to stop. At the very least Jim, leave the girl alone. She forwarded the disgusting e-mail you sent to her on Thursday. Shame

He made sexually innapropriate posts about a young lady in my neighborhood. He also sent her e-mails disguising himself as someone from the side that was opposed to the 86 condominium unit the Friends tried to build in our historic district.

He has harassed her in e-mails and postings on this site. The police have been investigating him as a suspect in a case of vandalism on our block. He drives a blue pick-up truck with a red number 8 on the rear window. His name is Jim Devitt. He lives at 3130 Woodridge drive in Woodridge. My husband has been working with the police.

More sexually harassing e-mails were sent to the young girl last week. He really needs help. I was a nurse for 32 years and I know what sick people are capable of.

I hope that was enough information for you
