There’s an empty lot with a diagonal angle to one of its corners, so that could still be the drive-in, just sleeping.
Looking at GoogleMaps, I realize that this is a duplicate listing for the Strand Theatre listing in Oxnard.
Street address of the theatre is Glassell, not Glassel.
If you go to that address – sorry for not noticing it earlier, ken mc – it looks like it’s actually four screens.
The address was 3480 Mission Avenue.
Building looks like it’s still there.
Now a parking lot for Bally’s, CVS, and a supermarket.
There’s a giant high-rise on the site now.

I can’t tell, but it seems like they just updated the old El Dorado building, which may itself be an upgrade of the Embassy.
Now demolished, Star Auto Body sits in place of the Gateway.
The City Terrace Cinema was where the church parking lot is now.
Address is 11126 Downey Avenue. Now operating as Popcorn Video.
Should be an a.k.a for the Plaza.

Was this theatre also known as the Ocean Drive-In? Or is the mysterious Red’s Twin the Ocean Drive-In?
Was this known as the Cina-Car Drive-In at one point? Can’t imagine Culver City having two drive-ins.
Now a large development with a Pavilions and a Staples. You can see on Google Maps where the screen was – at the bottom right corner of the lot.
It must’ve been just a couple of doors down from the Loma. Both are now gone, swallowed up by tacky condos.
