As on January 1956,the cinema had two shows[ 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm] nightly. The admission price for back stalls was $1.60 and front stalls 80 cents, while for children under 14 years of age, admission price for back stalls was $1.00 while for front stalls was 60 cents.
The cinema re-opened on 10th August, 2017 as the Cinema City -JP.The cinema has two houses.House 1 is equipped with Dolby Atmos sound system,while House 2 is equipped with Dolby 7.1 sound system. Both houses are equipped with Barco 4K Laser Phosphor Projectors. The new cinema is managed by Pegasus Entertainment Holdings Limited.
A new air-condition system was installed in the theatre as of 14th July, 1950. New RCA projectors were also installed.
