Ouch… that’s not too pretty. That being said, it appears that Cobb has put some money into this theater, as they’ve subsequently replaced the seats, so I assume the murals have been restored.
While it’s cool to see a multiplex with a “Classic”-sized Imax screen, it kinda sucks knowing that it’s probably using those low-res “liemax” projectors.
Although this theater was (internally) rebuilt in 2011, it’s kinda neat to see that they kept the original sign intact. Did you get a chance to go here before the flood?
I’m not sure about the capacity in most of the rooms, but I recall seeing a sign outside of Auditorium 12 that said it was something like 154, give or take. I’ll be sure to check the rest next time I go.
You are right on the money when it comes to the general sizes of the auditoriums.
I was expecting this mural to be reversed seeing as another theater constructed around the time of the Regal-Cobb merger had it that way: http://www.cinematour.com/picview.php?db=us&id=76232
BTW, do you know if the screens still have functioning masking here? (i.e. Curtains in Flat-mode during the Preshow, and then extended to scope by the time the Roller Coaster starts)

Yikes!

Those candy displays are almost underwhelming for a theater of this size.
I take it this is where the largest auditoriums are. It’s not everyday in which they are placed far from the lobby.
The Mint/Purple color scheme on the wall is nearly identical to what they have at the Sawgrass 23.
Next time you go, could you check that out?
Is this in the ticket queue?
Is it true that this theater has an upper level that has additional entrances to the larger rooms?
Of all of the lit-up murals at this theater, this one appears to be in the best condition, bulb-wise.
That’s one plush-looking car.
Glad to see that this theater isn’t being lazy when it comes to auditorium marquees.
Yes! I forgot how different it looks with out any of the lit-up elements.
Maintenance seems to be at the top of their game at this theater.
This brings back so many positive memories of the Sawgrass theater. I miss going there.
How did you find that on Google Maps?

This is a strange one.

That’s unfortunate. Thank you for checking, though.
The color of the pond is much better here.
Looks like an early version of this mural.
Since this is a 2nd-run theater, do they still use film here?
I take it this was one of the first theaters Regal built from scratch.
