I sure hope Village does not pick this theater up. They should focus on cleaning up their current theaters like the Village North and Village Art before they pick up another cinema. Not to mention any theater Village seems to acquire they seem to run completely into the ground. They just don’t care. See the Burnham Plaza, Water Tower Place and the Biograph.
They do not put ads any where. Because business dropped so much due to lack of ads and people not knowing the theater was actually open they had to put ads in. Who knows how long that will last.
The biggest theater was quite spacious and nice. 500 seats not stadium style but traditional. You just don’t get that with the mega’s these days. The Lincoln Village 1-6 is one of the few remaining theaters of this Cineplex Odeon style remaining.

A “for rent summer 2006” sign has gone up over the marquee.
Theater 3 is running full DTS digital sound, and theater 2 is soon going to be upgraded.

Village entertainment has acquired this theater from Loews. It’s open.
