This ad was in the Indiana Magazine of History. The article was about the Klan in Indiana in the twenties. I didn’t see another American theater listed in Indiana.

The Star Theater in La Puente, CA is one of the few quonset huts that are still around, although it too is on a short list to be demolished.

This is an S. Charles Lee sketch that the LAPL labeled as “unidentified theater”. It resembles the Fox Venice to some extent, but there’s been no mention of Lee as the architect. The sketch could have been for a project that was never built.

Here’s an interesting photo from the LAPL, dated 1930. The white building in the foreground has been replaced by the Larry Flynt building.
