Some quick research, looks like it was playing second-second-run B-movies by 1963. By 1974, it was a Levin’s department store. In 1975, the West Theatre company owed over $1000 in delinquent taxes.
Assuming this is the same theatre, this site (https://digitalcommons.unf.edu/historical_architecture_main/3409/) suggests it was originally called the Jackson Theatre.
I was going through a 1968 Morgantown, WV newspaper, and found the “Art Cinema” listed in Point Marion showing adult films. I guess I assume it is this one as no address was given.
Was watching Season 2, Episode 12 of a show called “Salvage Dawgs.” They were taking down a theatrical facade and they said it was the facade of the former Sheridan Square theatre. They said they were in Ohio though. However, the facade appeared to be an old facade attached to a newer building. Was it the facade of this theatre? I couldn’t find any clearer information. (Or a clearer picture of the facade to verify)
I went inside the Annabelle’s building on a recent visit to Loudon, and it has an unusual half-upstairs retail area that certainly could have been a balcony or projection booth, so I agree that it probably was the theatre.
I heard the theatre closed as a performance venue in January 2017, but I visited the town recently (April 2018) and men were working inside the theatre.
I was there last week, and the Annex antique shop is moving out. The people working there didn’t know what will happen to the theatre building. It is pretty much still intact inside. Even the screen is still there, balcony and everything. I took lots of pictures, I’ll post them soon.
Anyway, the clock is ticking on this building and it will be demolished soon. I talked to some people and if ANYONE out there is interested in salvaging anything from this theatre, inside or outside, including the Vitrolite and marquee, PLEASE contact the Marion County, WV county commission ASAP, as they may be open to salvage possibilities.
I was in this building today, via a friend who was able to obtain the key. In less than 4 years, things have really gone downhill.
The drop-ceiling is collapsing and water is dripping everywhere. It is a mess. The drop-ceiling collapse has revealed a hidden vintage mural (jungle-themed and beautiful.)

An advertising booklet for Weston from the late 1940s says the Camden was showing movies daily, while the Hollywood had weekly specials.

Oh, I should also mention that the “balcony-area” faces the front of the building, so perhaps it was a reverse type.

I’ve heard they’ve torn off the marquee.
This theatre also advertised “Free Baby Bottle Warming!” for busy parents on a movie date.
I’m sorry to say. but I think the drive-in has closed. Digital projector upgrade not possible, I guess?
This building is not demolished, it’s still standing. It was slated for demolition but is now likely to be preserved or at least mothballed.
The Art Deco Warner theatre in Morgantown, WV is still for sale. It is a college town with a very active downtown area.
