“I live in New England and I’m looking for an old theater currently doing nothing but sitting in a community that may or may not have expressed an interest in getting it up and running again… or just waiting for the right person to ‘get the wheels in motion’. Any help?"
Thats what bio I was talkin about :)

Have you called about this theater? Maybe you can work something out with owner??? I know that he’s been trying to sell this theater for quite some time. Worth a shot huh?

Thanks for the info Cooki. I feel the same with regards to it waiting for me. I am curious as to your reference to my bio though. Maybe you are thinking of someone else? I’m not sure. The problem is this, I am stuck in New England, (Maine) for at least the next 5 months. So it may go before I can make any moves on it. But I appreciate you keeping me updated.

Hi! I have been to Towne & Country Theater several times. The theater is in a beautiful condition and has been well maintained. Steve, if you are interested in this theater I would call 419-668-1641. Also Steve, this theater really sounds like something your looking for you. I read you bio and think this theater is waiting on you!!

I don’t think that I can comment on anything that might not be suitable for a public forum

Yes I am very interested. But I’ve heard some things. Perhaps this conversation is best suited away from this public forum.

Steve,
are you interested in buying the theater possibly?

Yes, for about six months over the last two years-2003, 2004.
I was one of the assitant projectionest’s there. They are still using the original carbon arch projectors but have updated to optical sound. From what I have been able to find out the theater was at least partially designed by John Eberson.

Connie,

Are you from the Norwalk area? Is Ron Knoepper(sp) still in charge of that theater?
