Rave or Regal. The emphasis on digital projection & 3D screens is a dead giveaway to either place. I hope Regal wins…further reason to stay the BLANK away from this theatre!

I’d guess that the same operator for the new place may very well operate the theatre that’s part of the Boulevards At South Bay development project that’s currently being built in Carson at the 405 Freeway & Avalon Blvd.

Harlem and Largo, MD – both being newer are still open. AMC is shifting direction but I’m not sure where they are going so I’m not sure how giving this one up plays into that shift.

Any word who the operator is going to – who understands the LA and urban market as alluded in the prwirenews release? Regal, Rave, Cinemark, Regency? Any guesses before the official word is out.

Aside now from the MJT in Harlem, are there any others still open? I know the ones in or near Cleveland and Atlanta have either closed or changed ownership.
