I would caution against linking to drive in.com since there are many errors there. Photograph links would be okay but any information there could be error prone such as the closing date of this drive in.
I also agree that this drive in was open until at least 1986.

I agree with borinNJ. I remember going to the drive in with my wife and we did not start dating until 1985. ‘85 or '86 may have been the last year for it, but it was open in the summer of '85

I disagree the drive-in closed down in 1983 since we would go there in High School placing the date more near 1986 as the final days of the Ledgewood drive-in.

The original name of this Drive-In was the Garden Auto-Torium
