@Mike Rivest: If you look closely at the entire page, there is a section to the left of the page which details the “re-opening program” for the Waycross Drive-In. This was the season opening ad, and not a grand opening. It’s not always easy to tell the difference, but I’ll bet they were open at least as early as 1952.
There was a second drive-in on US 82 in Tifton, which was closed due to construction of I-75, and is underneath part of the southeast section of the US 82/I-75 cloverleaf.
Here is a 1972 aerial photo of the drive-in, courtesy of Earth Explorer and USGS.
The other drive-in was further west on US 82 near Carpenter Rd, which is visible on Google Earth using historic aerial imagery.
Which one was the Hi-Way 82 and which was the Pines Drive-In? Your guess is as good as mine.
There also may have been a Marbo Drive-In located in Tifton, as mentioned on the Drive-ins.com site.
Thanks Raymond. Trying to sort through this information is kinda difficult, when people leave vague comments which assume you are from the area or understand what they mean. It’s especially confusing when there is a drive-in which operated under multiple identities, or multiple drive-ins clustered together such as the Martin, Georgia, and Smyrna drive-ins.
Just to clarify, the Georgia Drive-In was also known as the Marietta Drive-In.
The Smyrna Drive-In was also known as the Fair Oaks Drive-In.
The Martin Drive-In was also in Marietta, but was only known as Martin Drive-In.
Raymond, does all of that information work for you?

Another three headed monster puzzle. I found aerial photos for three different drive-ins located in Valdosta.
273 Bemiss Rd, Valdosta, GA 31605
N Ashley St & Oak Street Extension, Valdosta, GA 31602
N Forrest St & Myrtle St, Valdosta, GA 31601
Have names for two of them, Skyway Drive-In (N Ashley) and Martin Drive-in (Bemiss Rd) but no name for the N Forrest St location.
Does anyone have a drive-in listing for Valdosta which isn’t on CT yet?
