The Palace is on the right in this LAPL photo, circa 1950s. The buildings on the left and right of the Pine 0-100 block have been demolished.

Here is an item from the Abilene Reporter-News in March 1945:

No major damage resulted from a fire in the projection room of the
Grand theater, 441 Walnut, Sunday about 4:30 p.m. It was the second
fire reported at the theater in three weeks.

The Grand is patronized by negroes every day during the week except
Wednesday and Sunday when Spanish films are shown for Mexican people.

The Salisbury (MD) Daily Times advertises shows at the Shore until September 1976, which would have been the end of the summer season. There are some ads in 1976 and 1977 for a flea market at the drive-in as well. The last mention is a fire reported at the Shore in November 1982.
