To Comfortably Cool. No, this is definitely the one in Providence. The ad is from the Providence Journal. I copied it myself. In Boston the film had played at the Exeter Street Theatre, of moderate size, not the Metropolitan in Boston. Also, the film didn’t premiere at the Metropolitan in Providence, but at the Avon Cinema. This was a continuing run. They did the same with “The Red Shoes,” which had also played the Avon. “Paisan” was a popular film and could play larger houses for brief periods.
