A closer address is 3265 Northeast Expy Access, Chamblee, GA.
Today, the Regal Hollywood Theater Complex sits on the property with no trace of the drive-in remaining. Although the general shape of the property still retains the fan-shaped look of the drive-in.

i went to the drive several times, and of course the flea market on Sunday mornings, I am sorry that I missed the grand closing of this drive in, I heard that it was fantastic.
Think I saw “Towering Inferno” here as a little kid, maybe I was five? Saw “Pulp Fiction” on a date in the 90’s. (Also at North Springs Drafthouse, saw multiple times.)
Screen was kinda small. Not the glory of the good ol Glenwood!
Opened on as a twin on screen 1 with “The legend of hell house” and “Race with the devil” and screen 2 with “Blume in love” and “The exorcist”.
Two screens on June 20th, 1975. Another ad posted.
This opened on August 13th, 1965

I worked here briefly over the summer of 1988. I cut the grass and such. Mr. Harvey was a great manager.
My wife and I went to the final night of this drive-in in 1998. We saw Deep Impact.
I saw my first drive-in movie there in 1973. It was the “The Exorcist.” Me and my buddy sat on a cement block outside the car cause we were with parents that were arguing. I was 7 years old. Note: there was a playground down near the screen. I went there many more times over the years…
We used to go here as a family when I was little. I think I remember a playground at some point. I continued to go there for years, with various friends and boyfriends. In the 80’s, we also used to set up a booth at the swap meet on the weekends. We were there the last night it was open, to see Deep Impact. I went with my high school boyfriend, his wife and my husband, sort of like blending the old and the new.

Robin,Bugs come with Drive-ins.LOL!
Hey, What in the HECK are talking about a NATIONALHILLS THEATRE reunion on this NORTH 85 site. We need to move it to our theatre, even though I know this THEATRE IS YOURS TOO. See you at National Hills theatre, maybe the Tinneys will see it there.
Ithink I can squezze into it. TIE too. when we put together our 1985 reunion it took months really to get a good turn out. If we plan another one maybe we can do what we did last FAll when we all met at a nice place and enjoyed food and drinks. Bob GORDON Smith.ACCU-Bob on TV 12 got the ball rolling on that one.He was a projectionist before he ever did the Weather.Bill can tell you about Gordon.
hahaha…i would love it if you did! I told Diane to let him know to bring any others he wanted to…hopefully he will. It would be great to see Jerry Baby again! :)
Can I wear my GENERAL CINEMA managers coat! have red ABC COAT from the Imperial, but don’t think i could wear it.
I wish Tom would tell John and Cathy Arena. I just don’t know if they would come since they never worked while you guys were there. But I think, they use to be close. I mentioned it to Laura Tinney and she said she was going to get on CT,but I see no sign of her or Mr.Tinney. JERRY BABY,as she called him.
Hey Mike…last night Diane told me that Tom might be here Sat!
Well, I have found out the hard way, that some people can’t write. I really expected once i told the old gang I worked with from 1974 to 1980 about CT that we would all give AMERICA something to read. You are the only one,so I wouldn’t look for any writing.
Looks like I’ve run into the same problem you have. Cathy, Kim, and Diane all told me they would get on here this weekend. Oh well, maybe if I start telling embarrassing stories about them they will get on to defend themselves! LOL
Robin, I just added the DREAMLAND THEATRE in Augusta. I am sure Bill remembers it as a kid.
Speaking of Cathy, I thought she was getting on CT.
I have heard about every theatre story on CT. We will have to post it with names changed to protect the innocent. We can take a vote.
hahaha…oh yeah….and trust me, our friend Cathy will love every minute of it!
