Slight mistake opened on January 16th, 1970 along with the Sand Box in N. Hollywood.

The structure at 1717 Wilcox has been razed. Only the concrete footprint and a pole mounted sign for the defunct Vegan restaurant remain.

The Tom & Cat adult cinema opened on January 23rd, 1970 with “Streets of Paris” and closed in 1971. Grand opening ad posted

I thought it was/is called the TomCat? And I believe that it is still standing, possibly still in operation.

This was one of those reatil stores turned into a adult theatre, it was not a true theatre.
