The High Street Electric Theatre was opened by 1914, when it was operated by London and Provincial Electric Theatres Ltd. The building was demolished many years ago and offices for the gas company was built on the site (possibly in the 1960’s). In 2020 a chicken restaurant named Love Chicken operates at this address in the former gas offices building.
