Wren Drive-In

The Wren Drive-In was opened by 1956. Following its closure in 1985 it became a video rental store, located in the former concession/projection building and was known as Wren Movies. That business closed around 2017. In 2022 it was purchased by a new owner.

A 1955 aerial view shows the theater under construction. So the Wren Drive-In probably opened its gates in 1956.

The entrance/exit roads, the projection booth/concession stand, and the marquee which is falling apart are the only remnants of the drive-in.

However, its outline is almost perfectly preserved by the trees.
