Opened as Zig’s Photo Play Theater in January 1909, managed by George W. Ziegenfelder. Became Favorite Theater in 1912 when purchased by Fred Adams. Sold to the Yount brothers in 1915. Sold to George Bertling in 1917. Closed in 1933. History courtesy of Piqua Heritage Festival Committee and the Flesh Public Library/Piqua Public Library. Building is still standing and today houses 311 Drafthouse, a craft beer tavern and restaurant.
