I wonder if the Mars Theatre was decorated in a planetary theme?

Assuming Google maps is right, this address is at the main intersection of Dawson, a town subsumed by Tulsa.

This was my grandfather’s theater. I have photos. I need to dig them up and I will post them. My grandfgather’s name was Andrew “Duke” Smith. My grandmother’s name was Wilma (nee Hale) Smith. I believe he closed the theater in 1950 to take a job at McDonnell-Douglas so that he and my grandmother could put my dad, Gary, and my aunt, Jean, through college. My dad went to TU and my aunt went to OU. When I came back to Tulsa for my dad’s funeral in 1990, my grandfather drove me by the building that the theater had been in.
