On Wednesday September 21 2022, the former Chisholm West Cinema 5 was razed to make way for parking spaces.
If you have DRAGNET Season 4, Disc 1, Episode 2; the Laurel DI can be seen for about 5 seconds in Jack Webb’s “This is the City” intro.
As a 10-year old in 1978, I went to see STAR WARS at this DI, only to be EXTREMELY disappointed to learn that EAT MY DUST (with Ron Howard) would be shown first.
Never seen EMD since, and hope/pray I never do.
