Technically it was on Porter road as Peters drive didn’t exist but leave the address as that because it goes through the old site. Opening date uncertain but definitely opened in the 70s.
Opened at some point after 1972, was still open in 1986. It also looks like an addition was made to the concession building at some stage, possibly an indoor seating area for walk ins?

I completely got the address wrong, this was actually located at 160 Hastings River Dr, Port Macquarie NSW 2444. Its now Port Home Zone.
The house is definitely the original concession building with extensions added.
I don’t think this was ever a twin, I’ve seen photos of it throughout its lifetime and it was always a single screen site.
The Bentley Motel was built in the 60’s and the rooms had a view of the screen, I wonder if they also had sound wired to the rooms.

Opened after March 1961.
What is now Arabella St was the entrance road. The ramps and screen were still there in 1995.
Kirin Way was the exit road, the entire site is housing.
There was a small building on the site after the drive in was demolished, this remained there until around 2001 when the current strip mall was built.
Apologies, it was actually located on Follett St. Thomas Court runs down the centre of the site, its now factory’s/industrial estate.
