New website is https://www.frontierdriveinn.com/ Now called “Frontier Drive-Inn” it has a mix of yurts and shed rooms that can be stayed overnight in, films can be watched from these rooms as well.

There was a small drive-in located at the present address of 498 Courthouse Rd, Princeton, WV 24739 which is close to Bluefield, it appears in aerial photos from 1955 until 1961. A ford dealership now occupies the site, I wonder if this could be the actual location?

Most of the photos on this listing are from the Sunset which doesn’t appear to have its own listing here. The Sunset became the RV Park where the screen remained until it fell down in 2018, the Elk is now a bike park as mentioned above.

MichaelKilgore, the below page lists an “Enderby Drive-In Theatre” that operated for only one season in 1953. So maybe that was the original?

This was actually located further down Pemberton Ave with a current address of 221 Lloyd Ave, North Vancouver. The site is now a bus depot.

George Larson appears to have obtained ownership in 1953, the January 24, 1953 issue of Box Office reported this and also mentioned it had 200 seats for walk-ins. So this place actually had more indoor seats than car space.

Not sure when it actually closed but it was still there complete in 1996.
