The structure hasn’t been demolished. Bass Pro actually gutted the entire portion of the mall that used to house the theater â€" it was on the upper level of center court.

Wasn’t one of the office buildings on the site a Sam’s Club for a while?

Corrected that for Texas' listing. All the DI’s in Corpus now have entries here, except for Cuddihy â€" Yakima, where did you hear of this one? I can’t find any other mention of it.

^I know, but it should be “Route 9W” not “Route 9 West”. 9W, with the W, is the actual number. If you put in “Route 9 West” it confuses Google Maps and thinks you’re asking for a different road.

My bad. Viking Twin was 5333 Ayers and Osage was 4841 S. Staples.

This is a duplicate entry for the Sky Drive-In. Please merge the entries.

I don’t know why Google Maps has such trouble with Miller Road. Do the numbers reset at some point?

Address is a little off: 10699 State Route 9W is what it should be.

Also, it’s been repainted a mint green color since that 2008 picture.

It’s now a guitar shop.

The building was later a restaurant, but it has now been closed for several years and is vacant.

I found a couple marquee letters in the back of the lot about six years ago (the small black letters that slide onto the sign to tell you what movie is showing). Wonder what film in 1985 had a V and a Y in the title?

Slightly poorer picture showing that it didn’t use all of the former JCPenney.

A Goodwill store was finally built on the rest of the lot in the late 2000s.

Meijer is not a supermarket; it’s a superstore like a Super Walmart.

According to waterwinterwonderland.com, this was part of the Stadium Arena, now the Deltaplex.

The site remained vacant for several years until it was torn down for a retail complex with Target and Costco in 2007.

Hmm. I wonder which part of the mall it was in… probably where Dunham’s is now.

The site is now a small strip mall called Taylor Commons which opened in 1991, according to real estate listings. Most of the strip is now vacant, but a Taco Bell, McDonald’s and Applebee’s are all in the parking lot.

This drive-in showed adult films for at least a decade before its closure. The snack bar remains.

Tlsloews: I lol’d.

The snack bar is still standing, but the rest of the lot is vacant.

Personal recollections on Water Winter Wonderland indicate that the theater was still open in 1986.

Address was 424 N. Saginaw St. The building was Nagy’s Tractor Sales (different guy, same family) until 2004, when it moved. It is now Master Auto Repair.

Did some more digging. It was at 120 N. Forest St. and has been torn down for a Citizens Bank branch.
