I attempted to take some photos on July 17, 2018, but the extensive road construction and closure, as well as the complete removal of the theater’s access road and parking lot, prevented me from doing so. The outside did have some stone accents added to it, but I couldn’t see the front at all.
The information we received at the time said that they were closing on October 31, 2016, but we were receiving showtimes for the theater until November 17th.
The Seminole 8 closed in February 2015, and the building was demolished in April as part of a redevelopment of the Seminole Mall into an open-air shopping center. A new 12-screen movie theater is planned, according to a news article.
The theater closed August 31, 2018, but a new operator may reopen it later this month:

As of May 2017, this theater is now the Kenai Cinemas, under the ownership of Coming Attractions Theatres, Inc.
