The facade of Cinema Le Gamaar was created on the back lot
of Studio Babelsberg, Berlin. The building was entirely
a set and never existed. The auditorium was shot in an
abandoned cement factory outside Berlin for the great
fire scene. Great scenic decor.

“Inglorious Basterds” was really well worth seeing three times… and when released, I’ll be first in line to buy the video -because of the beautiful cinema created for the picture.

Well done EVERYONE connected to making this 4-Star film!!!!
